Yoyo Tricks – TOP-YO UNPRLD Elimination

If you watched my Instagram livestream of me unboxing my new sponsorship package from TOP-YO, you would have seen that the new collaboration bi-metal yoyo from TOP-YO and UNPRLD the elimination was by far my favorite TOP-YO throw that I’ve ever gotten.

The TOP-YO UNPRLD Elimination yoyo is a premium bi-metal yoyo designed for speedy play, and when I say speedy, I mean hard core SPEEDY. Other yoyos that have the same style of this type of play would be the UNPRLD Flash and the YoyoRecreation Draupnir and Sigtr. If any of those throws are your favorite already, I guarantee you would love this one. I loved it so much, I decided to make a promo video on it.

Enjoy!!!

Throw Score Yoyo Review Ep#12 – YoyoRecreation Draupnir

In this episode of Throw Score I reviewed the YoyoRecreation Draupnir.

After playing with this yoyo I’ve noticed that this yoyo is awesome at speed and horizontal. No wonder why when people mention speed they always mention the YoyoRecreation Draupnir. There were only a few specific things about this yoyo that kept it from being a 5/5 throw.

The main thing that I had a problem with was the finish on the yoyo. It felt too much like a chalk board, to the extent that if I did any grinds that involved my finger nails such as finger spins and talon grinds, it would leave either dust marks, or particles of my finger nail. It felt a little too much like a piece of furniture.

The second thing about this yoyo that kept it from being a 5/5 yoyo is that it tends to snag a lot more than usual compared to other throws that I’ve played with. So sometimes when I’m doing a very techy combo, sometimes it will unexpectedly bind or snag in the middle of a trick.

I would say that if you are a hard chore speed player such as Iori Yamaki or Yuki Nishisako, then I would recommend this yoyo.

Yoyo Unboxing – YoyoRecreation Draupnir

In this video I unboxed the YoyoRecreation Draupnir.

When I first took this yoyo out of the box I noticed that the feeling of the metal is unlike any yoyo I’ve felt before. If I can compare it to anything I would compare it to the feeling of a chalk board. When you scratch the yoyo, it easily leaves a scratch mark from your nails and gives you goosebumps, just as a chalk board does, this affects the type of grinds you do with your fingernail such as talon, thumb, and horizontal finger grinds, it might not affect the play as much, but it does feel rather scratchy and odd.

In terms of play, this yoyo is AMAZING at speed. the heavy weight distribution from the weight rings gives it amazing stability while going fast, in other words it does not tilt, which also makes it amazing for horizontal. The only problem I have with this yoyo is how snaggy it is. Whether it’s the response or design, the yoyo can snag easily in techy combos and slacky binds. This is probably because speedy players do the very powerful binds where you throw the yoyo up or to the side.

Overall, I highly recommend this yoyo to any speedy player that has $240 in his pocket and is willing to spend it.
